Copyright & Takedown Policy

FjordTrail lets users suggest photos and edits for trails. Every submission is reviewed by a moderator before it is published. We respect copyright and remove infringing material promptly.

Uploading photos

By submitting a photo you confirm that you took it yourself, or that you hold the rights to it, and you grant FjordTrail a non-exclusive licence to display it in the app and related materials. Do not upload photos you found online or that you do not have the right to share.

Reporting infringement

If you believe content in FjordTrail infringes your copyright, email us and we will review and remove it if valid. Please include:

• Identification of the copyrighted work.
• The exact location in the app (trail name and, if possible, the image URL).
• Your contact details.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf.
